Why I Created Lovin’ Truth Books

Lovin” Truth Books is a series of parent resources and tools presented in the form of children’s books — written from a biblical worldview and designed for parents and grandparents who want to lay a strong foundation of truth in their children from a young age. The series covers God’s design for gender and marriage, a biblical perspective on race that counters the division of Critical Race Theory, a Zionist perspective on Israel, and the true biblical meaning of God’s rainbow.

Each book works on two levels. For children, it is a colorful, engaging, age-appropriate story they will love. For parents and grandparents, it is a biblical resource complete with a dedicated “Word to Parents” section — providing deeper context, scriptural grounding, and the language to have these important conversations at home with confidence.

The inspiration behind this series was simple: I looked at what was being placed in front of children as young as two and three years old and saw an overwhelming number of books pushing ideologies that contradict a biblical worldview. These messages aren’t limited to the bookshelf — they’re in schools, television shows, commercials, magazines, and even school book fairs. The culture is reaching our children early and often.

It doesn’t stop there. There are book series targeting older children and teens that depict homosexual relationships in graphic and sexually explicit detail — content that, from a biblical worldview, can only be described as a form of sexual immorality being normalized and handed directly to our youth.

Another driving force behind Lovin’ Truth Books was watching families — including Christian families — being torn apart by these ideologies. Children were succumbing to homosexuality and transgenderism, and what became painfully clear was that parents often didn’t know how to respond, and the children themselves didn’t have a foundation for why they believed what they believed. They had never been given the “why” beneath the truth.

That broke my heart. And it made the urgency very real. If we wait until our children are teenagers to have these conversations, we may be waiting too long. The other side is not waiting. They are intentional, they are early, and they are persistent.

One of the things that makes this so challenging is how cleverly these messages are packaged. Slogans like “Love is Love” and “Love Wins” sound virtuous on the surface. They sound true. And that is precisely what makes them so dangerous. A child — or even an adult — without a strong biblical foundation will hear those words and have no framework to process them critically. But that is exactly what we would expect from the father of all lies. These are not clumsy, obvious deceptions — they are crafty, carefully worded, and emotionally compelling.

This is why a biblical worldview is not just something nice to have — it is a filter, a lens through which our children need to be equipped to process everything they see, hear, and read. When they have that lens, they can hear “Love is Love” and recognize that true love — God’s love — never celebrates what He calls sin. Real love tells the truth.

Lovin’ Truth Books exists to get ahead of that — to lay a biblical foundation at a young age so that when children are confronted with these ideas, they are not without an anchor. They know what they believe, they know why they believe it, and they know that it comes from a God who loves them and designed them with purpose.
